Gratitude is going to set us free!

So many wake up calls in July!
The more we recognize how blessed and loved and lucky we are the more we spread gratitude and the more we encounter strangers with an attitude of gratitude the more influence and access we get to more people.

Having “attitude “ has been celebrated for being indifferent, rude, hostile , arrogant and downright mean for years
But!! is it really something we admire in others?
Surely we prefer people who are positive, kind, gracious, humble and interested in others?

I’m not sure why it became cool to be cruel
But I know the whole” it’s better to be a Bitch” routine ran thin for me a long time ago
I don’t find rude people fun, funny or entertaining in real life. Miranda in Devil wears Prada sure but the real life versions in my life were ghastly and nothing about them was admirable or inspirational to me.
I find them sad, especially as I know for a fact that Happy People want other people to be happy,they spread their joy and happiness, only miserable people want to spread fear, dread and discomfort, that expression “ Misery likes company “ is so true
but guess what so does Happiness!!

When you are happy don’t you just want everyone else around you to be happy too?!!

I think it would be such a clever exercise for us all to pledge to 3 months of Gratitude
Or if that is too much to commit too, how about one month at a time and let’s see what happens?
I bet God and the devil would notice and take appropriate action!
God’s action being to bless us more for being grateful people who appreciate and respect each other and everything and the devil’s being to flee from us, disgusted and sickened by the positive and loving energy we are pouring out!
Remember misery wants company, the only thing that makes the enemy happy is causing us more misery and unhappiness , increasing and becoming more of itself, more powerful, more influential, more potent and relevant
So imagine what would happen if we cancelled the enemy by Only increasing and confessing good and positive energy?!!! We could completely obliterate the enemy and send it flying as far from us as possible
Maybe we will end up creating Heaven here on Earth just as God intended us too !

It is going to be challenging to a degree
As it means, not listening too or spreading or encouraging Gossip,
Not making snide remarks about anyone, not reacting negatively when someone makes a snide remarks about us, not speaking abruptly when made angry, not swearing, not lying, not being lazy and putting off today’s tasks to tomorrow,not being paranoid, not being fearful,not being stressed or creating stress, not spending what we don’t have
not over eating, not getting wasted on alcohol or drugs, not losing our confidence, being kind, patient (hard one for me! Lord please increase your Patience in me! amen)
